On each Grand River Cruise ship,
you’ll find beauty and comfort at every turn.
Upon arrival, you’ll enter an impressive
two-story lobby, just steps from the charming
and spacious Europa Lounge. Travel from one
exciting destination to the next in the comfort
of exquisitely upholstered chairs and sofas,
while you enjoy expansive views of the
ever-changing scenery. Join friends in the
Lounge for a cocktail from our full-service bar,
dance the night away or enjoy our nightly
entertainment.
The breathtaking Panorama Restaurant, lined with
floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, offers
elegant dining during a single luxurious
seating. For a more intimate setting, the cozy
Club Lounge provides soft chairs, sofas and game
tables.
The Patio Lounge offers a more casual area with
rattan chairs and tables. Early morning coffee
is served here. The Sky Lounge, on the top deck,
offers a pleasant glass-sheltered area with
tables and comfortable chairs.
On the Sun Deck, you can view the passing
scenery regardless of the weather. With plenty
of deck chairs and umbrellas, it’s a great place
to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Single-Seating Restaurant
The beautiful Panorama restaurant, lined
with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows on
three sides, offers elegant dining in one
luxurious, open seating. You can change your
dining companions each day as you meet new
friends, or join the same group time after
time.
The atmosphere is one of casual elegance.
Your table is set with fine crystal, linen
and silver. And with graciousness and flair,
a member of our professional European dining
staff welcomes you with culinary delights
that awaken all your senses.
Dinner is an elegant affair, with a choice
of delicious entrées. Our chefs take fresh
ingredients found locally, and create dishes
evocative of the countries you’ll be
visiting. Our cuisine also accommodates the
needs and tastes of American travelers.
Enjoy a wine selection more extensive than
on most other ships in Europe. And bask in
our warm, personal service.
A sumptuous breakfast is usually served
between 7am and 9am. Most shore excursions
are half-days, so you are back onboard in
time for lunch – a bounteous buffet with
salads, soups, choice of entrées, and
desserts.
The unique design of our ship extends the
restaurant 20 feet over the stern of the
ship, which gives us another 760 square feet
of space. Regardless of where you sit, you
have the feeling you are floating over the
water. You cannot ask for better dining with
a view.
Exclusive Features
With the introduction of magnetic key cards,
all our passengers enjoy the added security
and convenience of cash-free cruising.
And with our internet corner for e-mail
messaging, it's easy to stay in touch with
family and friends at home.
As an extra touch of luxury, a terry cloth
robe is provided for each guest.
Fitness Center
The River Princess, along with her
sister ships River Empress, River Countess
and River Duchess, has the largest fitness
center aboard any river cruise ship. There
is also a sauna and a steam room for your
enjoyment and relaxation.
