The Princesse de Provence is a charming deluxe
vessel built in 1992 and completely refurbished
in 2004. The extensive refurbishment has
preserved this ship’s special charm with
extensive use of fine woods, luxurious fabrics,
beautiful furnishing and stunning stained
glasswork. Original works of art can also be
found throughout the vessel.
From the impressive Reception Foyer to the
welcoming Main Salon and the elegant Dining
Room, this ship exudes French elegance. For
added comfort and enjoyment, there is also a
Panorama Lounge, 2 bars, gift shop, beauty
salon, a library, and a conference room. The
expansive Sun Deck offers plenty of comfortable
deck chairs and umbrellas for sun protection.
There is one crewmember for every 2.5 passengers
providing about the best crew to passenger ratio
of any river vessel. This allows for a high
level of service as well as sumptuous food,
served course by course for the evening meal.
Other amenities on board include safedeposit
boxes as well as an infirmary with a qualified
doctor on board.
All meals are served in the beautiful Dining
Room, in one single seating, with evening meals
up to nine courses on selected nights. Captain’s
Welcome and Captain’s Farewell Receptions are
provided as well as nightly entertainment and
dancing.
