Built in 2001, and carrying only 79 passengers in 41 cabins, the Frederic Chopin is very deluxe, yet intimate. Her size allows her to traverse the small locks just outside of Prague and Berlin. Original works of art can be found throughout. All double cabins are identical in size (140 square feet), and are beautifully appointed with built in closets, desk, shower and toilet, television, telephone and 4-channel radio. Bedding is European style duvets with feather pillows and eiderdown (synthetic materials upon request). The vessel features six meals daily (Breakfast, Morning Bouillon, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner and Midnight Snack). All meals are single seating with evening meals up to nine courses on selected nights. Additionally, there is a bar, Panorama Restaurant, lounge as well as a qualified doctor on board. There is nightly entertainment and dancing. The best crew to passenger ratio of any other river vessel, allows for a high level of service as well as sumptuous food, served course by course for the evening meal. Announcements, menus and daily programs are provided in English and German.

Cabin Furnishing
She is distinguished by staterooms on her upper deck featuring full length French doors which open (cabins on the lower deck have large windows). Original works of art can be found throughout. All double cabins are identical in size (there are three cabins for single passengers) and are beautifully appointed. They feature built in closets, desk, shower and toilet, television, telephone and 4-channel radio. Hairdryer and terry robes are available upon request. Bedding is European style duvets with feather pillows and eider downs (synthetic materials available upon request).

Cabin Service
In addition to the contents of the minibar you can also ask for bottles to be sent to your cabin. Please contact your cabin stewardess. Please note that alcoholic beverages may not be brought on board for consumption.

TV-, Video-, Radio-Program
In all cabins on MV Katharina there are 5 music channels available. Every cabin has a TV with 12 TV channels. More information can be found in the daily program.

There is a telephone in each cabin for intre-vessel calls. The person on duty at the reception will provide the necessary connections (depending on the ship's location).
