Itinerary

Day 1 BOARD YOUR OVERNIGHT TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT.

Day 2 ARRIVE IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA.
Meet your cruise representative and transfer to your ship. (D)

Day 3 MOSCOW.
On a city tour, see Red Square, the Metro and more. This afternoon, visit the Tretyakov Gallery,the National Museum of Russian Fine Art. There are several options forth is evening. You may want to take a Moscow by night tour, or attend a circus or festive folk lore performance. (B,L,D)

Day 4 MOSCOW.
Visit the fortified enclosure of the Kremlin, with its distinctive crenellated red brick wall sand tall towers. A tour of the Armory features its priceless collection of royal treasures including the jewels, crowns, throne sand royal armor of the czars. The afternoon is free to relax, shop, explore on your own or join an optional excursion. (B,L,D)

Day 5 UGLICH.
Enjoy a guided walking tour of Uglich. See the Church of Czarevich Dmitrion the Blood and the five domed Transfiguration Cathedral. Return to the ship and continue sailing. (B,L,D)

Day 6 KOSTROMA.
Founded in 1152, Kostroma lies along the middle Volga, surrounded by rolling hills and forests. Visit the impressive 14th century Ipatyevsky Monastery and the fascinating Museum of Wooden Architecture. (B,L,D)

Day 7 YAROSLAVL.
Today, tour the important Volga port town of Yaroslavl. Visit the beautiful Transfiguration Monastery, dating back to the 16th century. Next, stop at the Church of St. Elijah the Prophet with its 13th century fresco paintings. (B,L,D)

Day 8 GORITSY.
Arrive in the little village of Goritsy and enjoy the relaxing rural atmosphere in this quaint town. Visit the Monastery of St. Cyril of the White Lake, one of the most famous monasteries in Russia, dating back to the 14th century. Later, return to your ship and continue gliding peacefully along the river. (B,L,D)

Day 9 KIZHI ISLAND.
Arrive at the tiny fairytale island of Kizhi, located on the northern end of Lake Onega. The highlight here is a visit to the Museum of Wooden Architecture. (B,L,D)

Day 10 MANDROGA.
A day at leisure in Mandroga. You may want to explore the village on your own enjoying its ancient Russian architecture, or visit the unique Vodka Museum featuring over 250 varieties of Russia’s national drink! (B,L,D)

Day 11 ST. PETERSBURG.
Today you arrive in historic and beautiful St. Petersburg. Your tour will include the Nevsky Prospekt, Palace Square, St. Isaac’s Cathedral and the battle cruiser Aurora. Then, visit the world-famous Hermitage Museum. (B,L,D)

Day 12 ST. PETERSBURG.
A sightseeing tour in Peter the Great’s “Window on the West” begins with a visit the gardens and fountains of opulent Peterhof, Peter the Great's Summer Palace located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. (Entrance to the palace itself additional.) In the evening, relax on board on join the optional Gala Folklore show excursion. (B,L,D)

Day 13 ST. PETERSBURG.
A free morning to explore on your own. Or, purchase the optional Pushkin tour and see Catherine’s Palace. Tonight’s highlight is a ballet performance at the Hermitage Theatre. (B,L,D)

Day 14 DEPART ST. PETERSBURG.
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
