Package is based upon flights via Egypt Air from
New York (JFK). US domestic connecting flights
to/from New York (JFK) are not available in
conjunction with this airfare. When flying to
Cairo via an alternative airline, intra-Egypt
flights must be purchased separately and at an
additional cost of $263 per person. When booking
land only, intra-Egypt flights must be purchased
separately and at an additional cost of $263 per
person. Please note that in many cases, Egypt
Air changes intra-Egypt schedules, flights and
reservations. Therefore, your final flight
schedule will only be confirmed to you by your
Tour Manager while you are in Egypt
May 31 through Jun 30 departures: Due to the
closure of the Esna Lock, the first night of the
cruise will be replaced with 1 night in a Luxor
hotel including all meals.

DAY 1, Thursday - Depart USA
Depart the USA to Egypt. Your flight
includes meals, drinks, and in-flight
entertainment for your journey
DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Cairo
Arrive and transfer to your hotel in the
Heliopolis area. Balance of the day at leisure
Overnight: Cairo
DAY 3, Saturday - Depart Cairo, Embark Cruise
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to board your Nile
cruise ship and "hotel" for the next three
nights. Sail to the West Bank of the Nile to
visit the Necropolis of Thebes, the Colossi of
Memnon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the
Valley of the Kings, and the Valley of the
Queens. Continue to visit Luxor Temple and the
famous Avenue of Sphinxes
Optional: Sound and Light Show at the Temple of
Karnak
Overnight: Cruise (Luxor)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 4, Sunday - Karnak, Cruise to Edfu
Visit the Karnak Temple complex, the world's
largest ancient religious site. Following your
visit, rejoin the ship and sail this afternoon
to Edfu

DAY 5, Monday - Edfu, Cruise to Aswan
Travel by horse-drawn carriage to visit the
2000-year-old Temple of Horus. Standing as
Egypt's best preserved temple and second largest
after Karnak, the Temple of Horus is a
compelling construction both in terms of size
and intricacy. Afterwards, rejoin the ship and
sail to Kom Ombo to see the Ptolemaic Temple,
built in honor of gods Horus and Sobek. Sail to
Aswan
Overnight: Cruise (Aswan)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 6, Tuesday - Return to Cairo
After breakfast, disembark and continue to
visit the Aswan High Dam, the granite quarries
with the unfinished Obelisk, and Philae's Temple
of Isis. If time permits, sail by felucca to
view Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan
Mausoleum. Transfer to the airport for your
return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer
to your hotel with the remainder of the
afternoon at leisure

DAY 7, Wednesday - Cairo
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Cairo
Optional: Full Day Cairo: Egyptian Museum,
Pyramids, Sphinx, Bazaar and lunch; Sound and
Light Show

DAY 8, Thursday - Depart for USA
Transfer independently to the airport for
your departure flight
