Cairo via an alternative airline, intra-Egypt
flights must be purchased separately and at an

land only, intra-Egypt flights must be purchased

DAY 1, Sunday - Depart USA
Depart the USA for Egypt. Your flight
includes meals, drinks, and in-flight
entertainment for your journey
DAY 2, Monday - Arrive in Cairo
Arrive and transfer to your hotel in the
Heliopolis area of Cairo. Balance of the day at
leisure. Overnight: Cairo
DAY 3, Tuesday - Depart Cairo, Embark Cruise
Early morning departure for your flight to
Aswan. Arrive and transfer to board your Nile
cruise ship. Afternoon at leisure
Optional: Abu Simbel excursion
Overnight: Cruise (Aswan)

DAY 4, Wednesday - Aswan, Cruise to Edfu
This morning, view the Aswan High Dam, the
granite quarries with the unfinished Obelisk,
and Philae's Temple of Isis. Afterwards, sail to
Kom Ombo to visit the Ptolemaic Temple, built in
honor of gods Horus and Sobek.

DAY 5, Thursday - Edfu, Cruise to Luxor
Today, travel by horse-drawn carriage to
visit the 2000-year-old Temple of Horus.
Standing as Egypt's best preserved temple and
second largest after Karnak, the Temple of Horus
is a compelling construction both in terms of
size and intricacy. In the afternoon, sail via
Esna to Luxor, the ancient Egyptian city of
Thebes

DAY 6, Friday - Luxor
Today, visit the famed Valley of the Kings,
the Valley of the Queens, the Colossi of Memnon,
and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Enjoy the
balance of the day at leisure

DAY 7, Saturday - Luxor
This morning, visit the Temples of Karnak
and Luxor as well as the famous Avenue of
Sphinxes. Disembark the cruise and transfer to
your hotel with the balance of the afternoon at
leisure
Optional: Sound and Light Show at the Temple of
Karnak
Overnight: Luxor
Meals: Breakfast
DAY 8, Sunday - Return to Cairo
Transfer to the airport in Luxor for your
return flight to Cairo. Arrive and transfer to
your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure
Optional: Dinner with Local Hosts in Cairo
Overnight: Cairo

DAY 9, Monday - Cairo
A day of sightseeing includes an up-close
panoramic view of the Pyramids of Cheops,
Khefren, and Mycerinus, a visit to the Sphinx,
and the Valley Temple. Continue to visit the
world-renowned Egyptian Museum, with its
treasures of King Tutankhamon and remains dating
back some 3,350 years. Enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant nearby. After lunch, visit the
Citadel, the medieval fortress of Salah-El-Din,
the Mosque of Mohammed Ali, and the Khan El
Khalili Bazaar
Optional: Sound and Light show at the Great
Pyramid
Overnight: Cairo

DAY 10, Tuesday - Depart for USA
