excellent insight into the world of the Pharaohs
and a great introduction to the history of Egypt
and the many sites that are covered by your

tour includes the golden treasures of
Tutankhamen. In the afternoon, you drive to the
Citadel to enjoy a commanding view of the city
and see the impressive Mohammed Ali Mosque. Then
tour Old Cairo and see one of the Coptic
Churches and the Synagogue of Bes Ezra. Today’s
tour finishes at the Khan el Khalil bazaar with
time to shop. Meals B
Day 3 - Cairo
A second complete day of sightseeing begins
at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the famous
Sphinx, a colossal carved figure of a recumbent
lion with the head of a man. A special highlight
we’ve included is entrance to see the ancient
Solar Boat and an opportunity to take a camel
ride. Next, you travel to the edge of the
western desert and visit Memphis, the site of
Egypt’s ancient capital. Here you will see the
limestone colossus of Ramses II and the
Alabaster Sphinx. Continue to Sakkara, to visit
Egypt’s oldest standing stone structure, the
Step Pyramid of King Zoser. The evening is free
in Cairo. Meals B
Day 4 - Cairo / Abu Simbel / Aswan
A morning flight brings you to the grand
temples of Abu Simbel. Here, ancient Egyptians
carved four 67 foot high figures of King Ramses
II out of solid rock. After touring this
remarkable site you fly to Aswan to board your
