Switzerland to Belgium

Start your journey in Switzerland’s fascinating Basel, and then cruise the legendary Rhine to Germany’s enchanting Black Forest region and France’s Strasbourg. In Germany, sail through castle-dotted landscapes as you explore the Rhine’s famed wine region. Stop in quaint Rüdesheim and Cologne, “Jewel of the Rhine.” Then journey to the Netherlands to explore Amsterdam’s canals and museums. The final destination in this in-depth look at the Treasures of the Rhine is Belgium, where you discover Antwerp and the medieval city of Brugge. Sail aboard a ship designed for viewing riverside landscapes, whether through the restaurant’s panoramic windows, from the sun deck or from the comfort of your private, river-view outside cabin. Our onboard meals, prepared by European chefs, include a choice of entrées, regional specialties and traditional favorites. Enjoy a traditional Belgian lunch in Brugge.

Hosted by our English-speaking guides, you’ll explore historic cities, see breathtaking landscapes of the Black Forest and the Moselle Valley, and take an exciting cruise along Amsterdam’s canals. Explore Strasbourg’s magnificent cathedral and quaint Rüdesheim in the heart of the Rhine wine region. Then travel to medieval Marksburg Castle, visit Cologne’s Brauhaus Früh, and marvel at Arnhem’s Paleis Het Loo. Immerse yourself in Dutch art at Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum, and get a glimpse of the past while watching artisans make traditional Delft pottery by hand.
