Itinerary

Day 1, Saturday - Depart the USA
Depart the USA for Germany. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Nuremberg
Arrive and transfer to your ship for embarkation. Later today, enjoy a brief tour of Nuremberg that includes a drive throughout this famous walled city including its impressive castle and several World War II memorial sights along the way
Overnight: Cruise  Meals: Dinner

DAY 3, Monday - Regensburg City Tour
Arrive in Regensburg in the early afternoon, one of Germany's best preserved medieval cities, and enjoy a walking tour that includes the Old Town Hall, the Dom St. Peter, the Roman Gates at Porta Pretoria, and one of the oldest stone bridges over the Danube. In the evening, delight in a regional dinner while sailing for Passau, meeting point of the Inn, Ilz and Danube Rivers  Overnight: Cruise

DAY 4, Tuesday - Morning in Passau
This morning, arrive to Passau and enjoy a walking tour of this historic city. Rejoin the ship, and sail this afternoon passing the "Schloegener Schlinge," a beautiful part of the Danube with an unusual natural loop along the way. Tonight, taste the flavors of East Austria at a Heurigen dinner on board

DAY 5, Wednesday - Melk Abbey Tour
Early morning arrival in Melk. Enjoy a guided tour of the historic Benedictine Abbey, considered one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in Europe. This afternoon, cruise the Wachau Valley for Vienna

DAY 6, Thursday - Full Day in Vienna
Your morning tour of Vienna begins with a drive along the famed Ringstrasse, Vienna's main boulevard, to the Hofburg Palace. Walk the courtyards to the Vienna State Opera House, continuing to view the Parliament, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural History, and City Hall. Afternoon at leisure. After dinner on board, come ashore for a concert in the heart of Vienna, featuring the works of Mozart and Strauss  Overnight: Cruise

DAY 7, Friday - Morning in Bratislava
This morning join a tour of Bratislava, capital city of Slovakia, that begins at the Opera House and continues to view such sights as St. Martin's Cathedral, Town Hall, and Michael's Gate. Enjoy daylight sailing to Budapest. Dinner on board this evening

DAY 8, Saturday - Full Day in Budapest
Early morning arrival in Budapest. Today's tour of the city begins in Pest and views the Parliament, Royal Palace, Heroes' Square, and Market Hall. Continue across the Danube via the Chain Bridge to the Buda Hills where you will view Matthias Coronation Church and Fisherman's Bastion on Castle Hill. In the afternoon, depart for the artisans village of Szentendre and enjoy time on your own upon arrival. This evening, celebrate your last night abroad at the captain's farewell dinner

DAY 9, Sunday - Depart for the USA
This morning, disembark and transfer to the airport for your departure flight
