DAY 1, Saturday - Depart the
USA
Depart the USA for the Netherlands. Your
flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight
entertainment for your journey
DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Amsterdam
Arrive and transfer to your ship for
embarkation. The remainder of the day is free to
explore Amsterdam on your own. Stroll along the
canals and enjoy the elegant and classic
architecture of this 800-year-old capital. In
the evening, enjoy a gala welcome dinner on
board, followed by a guided walk through the
famed Red Light district

DAY 3, Monday - Amsterdam City Tour
This morning, cruise the canals in a
glass-top boat and view historic homes, 16th
century merchant houses, and charming churches
with bell towers. Arrive at the Rijksmuseum
where you will tour and see many famous
paintings from the Dutch Golden Age. Continue on
a bus tour of Amsterdam to view the Royal
Palace, National Monument and Skinny Bridge.
Continue by bus to Volendam to rejoin the ship
for lunch. This afternoon, drive to the
enchanting village of Edam and enjoy time to
explore on your own. Continue through the Dutch
countryside to meet the ship in Hoorn, a
charming port village with narrow cobblestone
streets and fortified gates. Later this evening,
cruise into the Ijssel River. Overnight: Cruise.

DAY 4, Tuesday - Nijmegen City Tour
This morning, arrive in the Dutch town of
Nijmegen, located on the Rhine's main tributary,
the Waal. Enjoy time at leisure to explore on
your own. After lunch, enjoy a walking tour of
Nijmegen. Return to the ship and spend the
balance of the day cruising through Holland into
Belgium. Tonight, enjoy dinner and entertainment
on board. Optional: Kroller-Muller Museum.

DAY 5, Wednesday - Antwerp City Tour
This morning, enjoy a tour of Antwerp, the
second-largest Belgian city, and an important
historical seaport. View Rubens' House, where
the great Flemish painter lived and worked for
most of his life. Visit the Grote Market with
its beautiful City Hall and the 16th century
Church of Our Lady, considered the largest
Gothic construction in the Netherlands. The
afternoon is free to explore Antwerp on your
own. Tonight enjoy dinner and a special
performance by local musicians on board.

DAY 6, Thursday - Full Day in Ghent
Early morning arrival in Ghent, the Capital
and largest city of the East Flanders province.
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Ghent. Optional:
Full Day Tour of Ghent and Bruges. Overnight:
Cruise. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 7, Friday - Zierikzee and Delta Works
Tour
This morning, sail through Zeeland to
Bruinisse. Drive to the charming city of
Zierikzee for a short walking tour and then
continue to visit to one of the world's most
complex engineering projects, the Delta Works.
Return to the ship for lunch, then drive to view
the 19 windmills of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World
Heritage Site. Rejoin the ship in Dordrecht and
sail to Schoonhoven. This evening, enjoy dinner
and entertainment on board. Overnight: Cruise.

DAY 8, Saturday - Tour of Keukenhof Gardens
This morning, come ashore for a short
walking tour of Schoonhoven, before departing
for a scenic drive through the tulip fields.
Enjoy a visit to Keukenhof Gardens, famous
throughout the world for its dazzling fields of
tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. View the park's
lakes, sculpture gardens, greenhouses, and open
windmill. This afternoon, return to the ship in
Utrecht and continue sailing into central
Amsterdam. This evening, celebrate your last
night abroad at the captain's cocktail reception
and farewell dinner, followed by a night of
comedy on board. Overnight: Cruise. Meals:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 9, Sunday - Depart for the USA
In the morning, disembark and transfer to
the airport for your departure flight.
