Day 1 BOARD YOUR OVERNIGHT
TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT.
Day 2 ARRIVE IN PARIS, FRANCE.
Arrive in Paris and transfer to your hotel.
Balance of the day is free to relax or begin
exploring this exciting city on your own.
Days 3 & 4 PARIS.
Two days in beautiful Paris. There is plenty
of time for you to shop, stroll along the
boulevards, visit one of the museums, or relax
in a café. On a half day sightseeing tour, see
all the major sights of this romantic city,
including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum,
Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées and more. (B
daily)
Day 5 PARIS / LUXEMBOURG / TRIER, GERMANY.
Drive through the scenic French country side
to Luxembourg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue to Trier in Germany to board your
deluxe cruise ship. Tonight gather on board for
a Welcome Dinner. (B,D)
Day 6 BERNKASTEL / ZELL.
This morning arrive in the charming village
of Bernkastel, boasting over 500 years of
documented wine history. Take a guided walk
through the old town center with its Medieval
and Renaissance buildings. Then, sail to Zell,
famous for its wine, "Zeller Schwarze Katz." (B,L,D)

Day 7 COCHEM or KOBLENZ /RÜDESHEIM.
Enjoy your choice of touring today. You can
travel to Cochem for a guided tour of hilltop
Reichsburg Castle. Or, go to charming Koblenz
for a walking tour. Together this afternoon,
cruise along the most famous part of the Rhine.
Arrive in Rüdesheim, the perfect example of a
Rhine Valley wine town. Visit Siegfried's
Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum and explore
the Drosselgasse, a narrow alley lined with wine
taverns and restaurants. (B,L,D)
Day 8 MAINZ / HEIDELBERG / FRANKFURT.
Today you can disembark in Mainz and travel
by motorcoach to Heidelberg. Visit the redwalled
castle, seeing the Great Vat, a 49,000gallon
18th century wine cask and enjoy the views of
the Neckar Valley. Then take a walking tour of
old Heidelberg with free time for lunch on your
own. In the afternoon, drive to Frankfurt, where
you reboard your ship. Or, you can enjoy a
leisurely walking tour of Mainz, hometown of the
famous printer Gutenberg and visit the Gutenberg
Museum. Then take a lunchtime cruise on the Main
River to Frankfurt, where you will have a
walking tour of the historic city center. (B,L,D)
Day 9 MILTENBERG / WERTHEIM.
Arrive in Miltenberg and disembark for a
walking tour of this charming medieval town. On
to the quaint town of Wertheim. There is time to
browse in the market square before reboarding
the ship. (B,L,D)
Day 10 WÜRZBURG.
Stop in the picturesque town of Würzburg. A
tour shows you the major sights here, including
the magnificent Residential Palace, a UNESCO
World Heritage site. (B,L,D)
Day 11 BAMBERG.
Stop in captivating Bamberg, declared a
UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993. Stroll along
the serpentine streets with charming houses and
18thcentury mansions. Stop for a picture of the
Old Town Hall, which straddles the river, and
see the cathedral. Your ship enters the
MainDanube Canal at Bamberg. Continue cruising,
heading for Nuremberg. (B,L,D)
Day 12 NUREMBERG / PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC.
After a city tour and some free time, travel
east, across the German border into the Czech
Republic. In 1,000 year old Prague, check into
your hotel. Then, a sightseeing tour takes in
all the highlights, including Old Town’s
Astronomical Clock, Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus
Cathedral, the Old Market Square and more. (B)
Day 13 PRAGUE.
Prague has a long and colorful history, from
its early days as a bishopric, to becoming the
capital of both Bohemia and the Holy Roman
Empire. The city today is a wonder to behold:
its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage
listed site. Enjoy a full day free to explore on
your own, shop, or take one of the optional
tours available. (B)
Day 14 DEPART PRAGUE.
Transfer to the airport for your onward
flight. (B)
