Day 1: Overnight Flight
Join Collette Vacations on the legendary waterways that define the true soul of Europe. Begin with an overnight flight to Europe. (Tour prices are land only rates based on per person, double occupancy. Please call for airfare pricing.)

Day 2: Budapest, Hungary - Tour Begins - Board Ship
Your tour begins in Budapest, Hungary’s capital city. Board your ship for a relaxing 14-night river cruise. Your vessel offers the newest technology, panoramic deck, panorama salon and bar, excellent cuisine and outstanding service. Meet your fellow travelers at a welcome cocktail reception. Later, enjoy an evening cruise and folklore show. Today dinner will be included.

Day 3: Budapest
Your tour of Budapest, Hungary’s lovely capital, features the historic Buda Castle area, Fisherman's Bastion and 500-year-old St. Matthias Church. Enjoy splendid views of the twin cities of Buda and Pest, spread over both banks of the river. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 4: Bratislava, Slovakia - Vienna, Austria
Today, arrive in Slovakia's capital, Bratislava. A city tour includes the 13th century castle, the old town, St. Martin's Cathedral, Michael's Gate and the Archbishop's palace. This evening, cruise to Austria's capital city, beautiful Vienna. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 5: Vienna
Join a local expert exploring Vienna's Imperial architecture including the Hofburg Palace, the Vienna Opera House, the Ringstrasse and St. Stephen's Cathedral. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 6: Melk
Cruise through the Strudengau en route to the Wachau Valley and charming Melk. A guided tour of the valley culminates with a visit to Melk's magnificent 900-year-old Benedictine Abbey, one of Europe’s largest baroque monasteries. Afterwards you are treated to an exclusive wine tasting featuring vintages from the vineyards of Wachau and Burgenland. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 7: Linz - Passau, Germany
After breakfast, arrive in Linz, Austria, a favorite city of Mozart, who dedicated his Linz Symphony to the town. Later, cruise to Passau, where the rivers Inn and Ilz join the Danube. Enjoy a visit to this beautiful town, home to St. Stephan’s Cathedral and the world’s largest church organ. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 8: Nuremberg
Depart on a guided tour of picturesque Nuremberg, Bavaria’s second largest city. You will be awed by 900-year-old ramparts, the Imperial Castle and the Justice Palace. Later, continue sailing and arrive at the impressive stair-step locks where you will ascend to the highest point of your cruise. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 9: Regensburg - Kelheim
Today, arrive in magnificent Regensburg, one of Germany's best preserved medieval cities. A city walk features the old Town Hall, 12th-century Stone Bridge, St. Peter's Cathedral and the Porta Pretoria. Tonight, the ship enters the first stretch of the fascinating Main-Danube Canal as you make your way towards medieval Nuremberg. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 10: Bamberg
Cruise through the final stretch of the Main-Danube Canal to Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Disembark and enjoy a guided tour to discover the history of this medieval gem, founded in 902. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 11: Würzburg
Arrive in Würzburg, "The Pearl of the Romantic Road." Nearly destroyed during WW II, Würzburg has been rebuilt into a beautiful Franconian town. Tour sights include the magnificent the Bishops' Residence, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue cruising through the Franconian wine region. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 12: Cruising or Wertheim
Enjoy a relaxing day aboard the ship watching the lovely landscape of forests, fields and charming villages slip by. Or, choose to join an optional excursion and disembark in Wertheim where you will get to know the city on a walking tour through its cobblestone streets lined with gabled, half-timbered houses. Next, continue on to Miltenberg for time to explore the city including its enchanting market square. Finally, visit the famous glass museum before returning to the ship. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 13: Rüdesheim - Koblenz
Cruise along a beautiful stretch of the Rhine. Sail through the dramatic Rhine Gorge, dotted with hilltop castles. See the legendary Lorelei Rock before arriving in Rüdesheim, a charming Rhine Valley wine town. The "Winzerexpress" mini-train takes you to Siegfried´s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum for a guided tour. Explore the pedestrian street, Drosselgasee, and sample some local wines. Later, cruise to Koblenz, at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Enjoy an early evening walk of this charming town surrounded by vine-covered hills. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 14: Koblenz - Cologne
Cruise the scenic Rhine River to Cologne, one of Germany's oldest cities. A guided tour through the old part of the city highlights the twin-steepled, 13th-century gothic cathedral. Tonight you are invited to attend the Captain’s Gala dinner before departing for the Netherlands. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 15: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Welcome to Amsterdam. A local expert leads a leisurely-paced tour highlighting its 500 bridges, intricate canal system, charming churches, and 16th century homes. Tonight, gather on board with your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner and Dutch folklore show. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.
