Trying to use frequent flyers miles and need to know best time to go see the play.

The Passion Play operates for 5 months from May through October.  Performances are held every day between May 15th and October 3rd, 2010, except for Mondays and Wednesdays.  So there will be 102 performances in 2010. 

The play will start at 2.30 pm and end at 10:30 pm every day. It is only one play each day with an intermission of 3 hours for dinner. So part 1 will be from 2.30 pm to 5 pm and part 2 from 8 pm to 10.30 pm.

Several dates are already sold out, so we do suggest booking within the next couple of months. 

In 2010 there are more choices than ever for attending the Passion Play.  You can do as little as 3 to 4 nights in Munich nights in conjunction with the performance, religious tours, tours of just Germany or tours that combine surrounding countries. A few operators offer Italy and the Passion Play. Princess is offering a Mediterranean cruise along with a land package including the play, or you can choose from several river cruises.
